Educational Philosophy

My Educational Philosophy

As an educator, I am morally obligated to enter the classroom with only the highest expectations for every one of my students. As an educator, I maximize the positive benefits that naturally develop with any self-fulfilling prophecy. My students will rise to the occasion with commitment, determination, hard work, and teamwork. “Assessment is everything, and everything is assessment” is the philosophical foundation on which my education was built. I encourage my students to represent themselves through their personal [multicultural] perspective.

I aim to bring an open mind and a positive attitude, with high expectations, to the classroom daily. I owe it to my students, peers, and community to bring consistency, diligence, warmth, and vulnerability to my work.

I hope to inspire and promote such characteristics in my students as well. I encourage my students to represent themselves through their personal [multicultural] perspective.
